Groombridge WI meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 8 pm, usually in the Groombridge Village Hall.
Our meetings are great fun, really varied and our annual calendar is developed in response to our members' interests. We always have a selection of delicious sweet and savoury treats provided by a rota of members, and we serve tea, coffee, red & white wine and soft drinks. We have members of all ages from the village & surrounding areas and new members are always welcome. So whether you have lived here for years or are new to the area, come and join in, we'd love to see you!
In addition to our monthly meetings we have two special interest groups: Pins & Needles Craft Group and Book Club. For more details click on the appropriate group from the menu bar.
Next Meeting: 8pm Thursday 26th September Groombridge Village Hall Doors open 7.30 pm Back by popular demand we welcome Dick Griffin, former Royal Protection Officer to The Queen, Prince Philip and Prince Edward.
We will also be holding our annual bake-off competition and would ask all members to bake their signature bake to be judged by Dick and his wife.
This is going to be a fabulous meeting so we have decided to make this an open meeting. Guests are most welcome for £5 entrance and basically as much cake as you can eat! Just please let Sarah know who is coming so we can cater accordingly. For information contact Sarah at email@example.com
